Minutes from city, but in a total bushland peaceful setting, as well as 5 minutes walk to cafes, bars and restaurants of Cammeray Village.
Our Quarrymans Cottage is tucked away in the bush, down a driveway behind other properties (then 10 steps) to the cottage - which is level.
The cottage is part of our home. It is 100% newly renovated, but some work continues on our home. This will not impact you, but so you know. (Coming in from the street, you cant avoid seeking our materials storage area)
The space
Our 1860 stone manor, has a separate full self-contained one bedroom apartment. Recently fully renovated. Own entry, before we get to our own entry.
All walls (inside and out) feature sandstone that was hand cut over 150 years ago
The apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 guests and comprises:
. large bedroom (queen bed) and wardrobe;
. large bathroom which includes a laundry (both washing machine and dryer);
. kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, cooktop, microwave, toaster, nespresso machine); and
. lounge room where you can eat at a table for four or lounge.
. Wifi and large screen for internet casting are available (no standalone TV)
Ample carparking exists on street next to the driveway entrance.
PLEASE THINGS TO NOTE,
This is our home too. We will be around, but your apartment is self contained and practically we dont think you'll see us at all. it is the courtyard entrance that is shared, not your apartment space.
We are renovating the rest of the house and the entry at the moment is underway - not complete, but easy access. We have reduced the cost acknowledging the entry experience is on its way and not perfect yet...
The house is secluded from the street, being about 25m down our driveway.
Guest access
As your apartment is fully self contained, we dont see a need to be in any of the other parts of the grounds. We have made a private external area for you. So please, other than the common entry path, the balance of the garden is not for guest access.
