Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was next to the river which was very nice. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was effective though the remote sometimes worked erratically. The swimming pool was clean and had a continuous flow of fresh water. But in the mornings it used to be covered with dead insects from the night which should have been cleaned every morning with a suitable net. The food was generally good with lot of choices. From the family point of view to have the villa exclusively to ourselves was a great getaway experience.

Negative: The rooms had an unpleasant odour but it was not that strong to mar our stay and with the air-conditioning the impact of the smell was reduced. Power cuts were quite frequent and though there was generator back up it was not automatic and had to be manually turned on. This sometimes took 5-10 minutes. Not a deal breaker though. The approach drive and surroundings were not so good. It didn't make too much difference as we didn't have to go out of the villa and everything was provided inside itself.

Summary: Excellent place to just chill out and bond with the family.
