Positive: The property itself was extremely good. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The location was very serene with a lovely stream flowing in front of the property which was easily accessible and very nice to wade into and chill nearby. The dinner was arranged on request and the menu offered both regional and other options. The price was slightly on the higher side. The dinner was homecooked and delicious. The breakfast was included and was also equally delicious. There is internet connectivity through WiFi. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Gets cold in the night and therefore warm clothes are a must. Overall, a very comfortable stay in the middle of nature and very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend it for those who are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Negative: The final stretch of the approach road is not in a good condition. This is probably privately owned and if so, needs to be fixed - maybe a concrete road would be ideal and would survive the monsoons and a long term solution. Campfire (we did not opt for it), is expensive and charged at Rs. 1000 for 2 hours. Automated calls from StayVista asking to review the stay - phone numbers that have been shared should not be used for these purposes.
