Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Food served at guest house was very good. Both tasty and healthy. As i have some health concerns, the staff were considerate in meeting my dietary needs. My partner are both vegetarian, we both ordered indian local cuisine from the family, which was of the highest standard from any home stay we have stayed with during our time in India. We would recommend the home stay food as a much better option than eating outside. Also a much better place to stay. Only a short distance from the centre. We found it a better option than places in the noisy centres we were used to.

Negative: There were some necessary roadworks which were ongoing nearby and a little noisy at times during the day. However we were out visiting places of interest, so it didn’t really affect us. We plan to return to Vrindavan over the next few months and stay there again.

Summary: Pleasant, friendly, homely stay and reasonably priced.
