We travelled overnight via Srisugam bus and reached the Coorg bus stand around 5:00 AM, greeted by heavy rain and pitch-dark skies. What truly stood out was the attentiveness of our homestay host, Mr. Pavan, who had been in touch with us since the previous evening, ensuring everything was going smoothly. With no autos available at that early hour, we messaged him—and to our surprise, he personally came in his jeep to pick us up. That moment, driving through the rain in complete darkness to the homestay, gave us a sense of how much he genuinely cared for his guests. Upon arrival, he offered us a choice between a 1 BHK upstairs and a 2 BHK unit downstairs with a full kitchen setup. We opted for the 2 BHK, which felt cozy, spacious, and ideal for a family stay. The rooms were neatly maintained, and we appreciated the home-like setting, which made us feel instantly comfortable. It was perfect for those who enjoy cooking or spending quiet time with loved ones. One special touch that made our stay memorable was when Pavan offered us homemade wine—rich, strong, and incredibly flavorful, priced reasonably at just ₹350. A real treat for wine lovers! He also went out of his way to help us with bike rentals and was always available with his jeep for any kind of assistance. His warm hospitality and ever-ready support truly elevated our entire Coorg experience. ✅ Pros Exceptional Hospitality: Pavan was extremely helpful and responsive from the moment we booked until we left.
