Positive: I have a high bar for luxury stays and Bloomsville delivered for me on multiple levels! From the beginning, with the warm welcome by the staff, the beautiful location, and the landscaping, interiors and decor of the villa set a comforting and cozy tone for my stay that was oozing with luxury. The villa has multiple gardens, filled with beautiful flowers and details that made exploring the surroundings a joy. The interiors were very tastefully done with enough nick knacks and art pieces that you could spend hours in and around the villa without getting tired of it. Combine that with the majestic scenery around the villa, the breathtaking sunrise that is visible from the multiple balconies and sitting areas, and the beautiful night sky where you can spot so many stars and constellations on a clear night's sky, everything was perfect and it was hard to find flaws in the property. It was so beautiful that we decided to spend an entire day just relaxing at the villa rather than going sightseeing around Ooty. Moving onto the service, which was the next highlight - Vinod, Rani, Ramesh and the other staff went above and beyond, providing for all our asks and making sure that our stay felt even better than a top tier 5 star hotel. The food prepared as part of our meals included in the stay package was delicious. Especially items from the local Tamilian cuisine and every single breakfast item was fabulously prepared. They even guided us in finding and accessing some very non-touristy and untouched spots nearby and provided for things to carry with us on our day trips like water bottles, umbrellas, and walking sticks. They were available very promptly throughout the stay, providing tea outside of the packaged meal times and even spot cleaning at night when needed.

Negative: A few hiccups were present that made the stay just a little shy of being absolutely perfect: A couple of food items were not upto expectations but they were replaced and fixed immediately (caramel custard had bitter tasting burnt caramel and chicken biryani was a bit too bland). Also, they had separate storage geysers connected to all the bathrooms, however the cold weather made it so that the hot water would get finished within 15 minutes of use, which also made it hard to get the jacuzzi on the property to fill up with adequately hot water. And on the last day, there were power outages because of which the water pressure was a little low. These were however minor, and compared to all the highs very forgettable.

Summary: A hidden gem that makes taking an Ooty trip worth it just to experience this Villa
