Positive: What i loved is the scenic views- the way their caretaker “joseph” took care of everything for us - he cleaned , he helped us with our bags , he checked us in and out - he called us to ensure we were okay - he helped us keep our stuff safe - he was honestly a dream - i loved the atmosphere- the spaciousness of the apartment- the cleanliness and the peace - the rooms were well designed

Negative: We had a huge problem and were treated in a very racist manner. Firstly, when booking with them on (link unavailable), they did not specify the thousand rules they have. One of the rules was "NO VISITORS" - you only told us about this after we booked, and it is non-refundable. When you're travelling, whether for work or holiday (which was the case for us), you'll be receiving visitors - it's what makes your holiday enjoyable! For example, I wanted to invite my granny for lunch since she lives in Durban, or invite my cousins to join us for a braai. I received a call from Cleopatra - when I wanted clarity on the no visitors policy - she told me we were allowed two visitors at a time, but they cannot sleep over. I agreed and understood. Upon arrival, the security guard reiterated that we were allowed visitors, they must just sign in if they come with a car. Anyway, my visitors came through, they did not sleep over, and the night shift security was much more rude to my guests - very nice to the white and black people, but rude to my guests. He wanted them to get out of their car and come to his window to sign the papers, whereas with the white people in the car before us, he had gone to them. When he showed them attitude, they told him off. He was then rude again, and to my other guest he didn't know - we were walking in to get my guest's shoes from the room (no car), and the guard stopped us, saying he must sign (he didn't need to sign at all, as he already did that in the morning). So he signed and wrote my name, as it asked for "residents". The guard shouted at my guest, pulled the book away while he was writing, and said he should write his name (the guest's). So my cousin did, he scratched my name out and wrote his. The guard shouted at him, saying he was messing with his book. We asked why we needed to sign - this is only if we bring a car - the guard asked "how dare you tell me about my job".
